What does tifa's ring in advent children mean?

There was this scene when tifa and cloud was talking...we all know that she was kinda frustrated at cloud that time..and there was a part when her hand was shown--with a ring...i wasnt sure if i am right because of the quality of the video i saw, but i think it was kinda similar to cloud's "emblem." ..and so i was wondrin''.. was the ring from cloud? or...anything like that? besides, tifa talks like they've "lived" or have been together for a long time after the game and before cloud had the geostigma. though i am aware that they're childhood friends,,, it sounds a bit different that time... does anyone know?
