B&A: How is the beginning of my novel?

Your writing has a really nice, crisp rhythm to it. It was clever and simple - nothing more than needed, no purply prose (which is awesome). Also, the page held my attention, which is surprising, because normally I can't get through pages on here that just throw random characters and situations into my face. Keep writing - I would love to read the entire story!
