What country should the U.S. attack to gain control of their oil reseves?

I don't think any country in the mid-east since the Saudis and kuwait already cooperate and we have a permenant foothold in Iraq. Russia or any of it's old satellite states probably wouldn't be a good choice with Russia having the bomb and Putin being a nationalist and all that good stuff. I am thinking some African country, as it seems life is generally worth less there than anywhere else. South America seems like a bad move. There are always little leftists governments popping up there on their own.
